Hiatus might be over soon!

 Recently i've started to get some motivation back, so hopefully by the end of this month we should be getting a new review out. 

A Apology

 I know I promised that I would work on getting more reviews published, but depression has been hitting me extra hard these past few months. I'm sorry if i'm letting anyone down. This blog isn't quite over, but is simply on a long hiatus. Once again, i'm sorry.

Black Lives Matter

I know that I haven't posted in a long time, but there's something I need to talk about. Originally I intended on reviewing The Help this week as my come back. Then as I sat in front of my computer, and began to type it up, something felt off. I think that something is the fact that despite having lots of People of Color in my life, I am still white, and so I do not experience the same things as People of Color experience. Now instead of doing a review this time, instead I am asking you to help. You don't have to join any riots. Sometimes the best things we can do is just show that we care. If you want to though, you are welcome to donate to the official Black Lives Matter organization. Let's work together so then no one has to ever fear being unjustly murdered again.

Announcement: April 10th, and 16th movie reviews

This may be new information for all my readers here, but April 16th, is actually my birthday. Since because my birthday is coming up, I decided that I wanted to be extra self indulgent for the next couple movie reviews. This Friday, we will be looking at the live-action adaption of the anime Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable Part 1. Then the day of my birthday, we'll be looking at one of my most favorite movies in recent years, Detective Pikachu. There won't be a Friday review that time as my birthday is on Thursday this year. While you're still reading this, I may as well tell you guys about a special review for Easter Sunday. I will force myself to watch the atrocious live-action animation hybrid movie, Hop. I hope you are all looking forward to these reviews!

 

Announcement: March 20th Review

This Friday, expect something a little different from usual. No, it won't be like February 14th where I did two mini-reviews. Instead I will be spoiling you with two full length movie reviews! Now what movies am I reviewing that deserve to be reviewed on the same day? Well you see, I am a bit of a gamer myself (Not the kind that is sexist, homophobic, and racist mind you), and on March 20th not only will there be a new Animal Crossing game, there will also be a release of the new Doom game. In case you don't know either game series; Animal Crossing is a life simulator game where you play as a human who lives in a ever growing village full of cute animal neighbors. Doom meanwhile is if a Heavy Metal album came to life. It is a adrenaline pumping action game where you can actually rip off your enemy's arms, and use it to beat them to death! Enough info-dumping, let me get back on subject! Did you know both of these very contrasting games have movies? Well now you know! To celebrate their new game's release I will be reviewing both movies as well. See you this Friday!

I swear to Tom Nook, if we don't get Doom Guy as a Rabbit Villager in this game...

Announcemnt

Friday is coming up, and you all know what that means. Time for our weekly review. However i'll be doing something a little bit different this time. Instead of one full length review, I will instead be giving you two mini reviews this week. Once you see which movie it is you'll probably understand why I wanted to do a mini instead of a full length one. Anyway I hope you are all having a good week, and i'll see you tomorrow for the reviews.

And we're back!

Sorry for being gone for a bit. You know how the holidays can be. Being an adult one is bound to get stoned and/or shitfaced, and forget about their responsibility as we gorge on fatty, sugary treats. Now the holidays are over, and we enter not only a new year, but a new decade! New decade also means new movies, so i'll definitely be busy these upcoming months as I continue to bring you my quality-ish reviews. I hope you all had a happy holiday, and I wish you all a great new year!

Apology

Sorry for not posting anything on Friday. Due to my own poor time management skills, and accidentally burning myself out by reviewing so many movies this month, I wasn't able to bring a review on time. Originally I was planning on trying to release a review nearly every day for the month of December because of how many holiday movies there were. Though it would seem that I had overestimated myself. Because of this, we will be returning to our normal schedule of every Friday 10:30 AM reviews. I am sorry if I let anyone down.

No review today, and site redesign

Today is now Black Friday, originally I was going to release a review for the classic anti-consumerism movie, They Live. Although as I planned, made, and hosted an entire Thanksgiving dinner just the other day, it's proven to have had taken a lot out of me this time. Don't be sad though as i'm sure i'll get around to reviewing it during the next big shopping holiday. 

In other news, On December 1st, the site will go under a holiday themed redesign, and with it, I will be reviewing Christmas movies all month long! Since you're probably still bummed out about the absent They Live review, i'll go ahead, and announce the first movie of our Christmas binge, the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. I mean it's only right considering that the latest installment of the Star Wars saga will be coming out later that month. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, and I hope you're just as excited as I am for these upcoming reviews!

Unstable Internet

I'm sorry that this is a bit abrupt, but lately my internet hasn't been the best. What this means is that there may not be a review coming out tomorrow because of this. Although what I can guarantee is that next week I have two reviews lined up for release on Thanksgiving, and Black Friday. Hopefully my internet will cooperate with me, and I should get a review out at latest this Saturday. Thank you for your understanding.

Site Redesign!

Hey guys! I don't know if you know this, but i'm a huge fan of horror movies and Halloween. In honor of Spooky Month it's only fair that I temporarily redesign the website to have a more spooky aesthetic. Don't worry though as the normal design will shortly return after Halloween.

I also have another announcement, because it is Halloween time, I will be reviewing only horror and Halloween centered films. I hope you enjoy the reviews as much as i'll enjoy watching them!

Sick Leave

Sorry no fancy formatting this time as I'm posting this from my phone. Anyway as you can probably tell by the title of this post, I'm sick. I caught the cold and have been feeling like trash, so there will be no review today. I'm sorry for the  inconvenience, I'll try to put out a review as soon as I get better. Thank you for understanding.

Special Announcement!

Some time after posting my first review, I received  feedback stating that if I wanted to do better as a reviewer i'll need a rating system. Taking this into consideration and after some time of thinking about it, I have decided to implement a new rating system. Although, it will be similar to other rating systems going on a scale of 1-5, I will not be using numbers, stars or thumbs up. Instead, i'm going to take a cuter approach, and so I would like to introduce, the all new Paws system! Paws standing for Pawsitively Awesome Way to Score... or at least it would if it was an abbreviation. Anyway, I have another announcement I would like to make! I have an official posting date now! Now instead of constantly refreshing the page to see if there is any new content, you can mark your calendars for every Friday at 10:30 AM. Of course there may be times where I deviate from the schedule and post two reviews in a week, although those surprise bonus reviews will be completely random.
